WATERVILLE, MAINE — A landmark exhibition focused on one of the most influential American artists working today, “Alex Katz | Out of Sight: A Drawing Survey” is on view through October 11 at the Colby College Museum of Art. The exhibition unites drawings from across Alex Katz’s career, offering an intimate look at his creative process. Bringing together more than 70 works — including never-before-exhibited drawings from the artist’s personal collection, works from the Colby Museum collection and select loans from private and institutional collections — the exhibition demonstrates the wide range of Katz’s explorations on paper.
