Museum Open House - Colby College Museum of Art: Painted: Our Bodies, Heart, and Village

During the program, we'll be finding out about the history and mission of the Colby College Museum of Art and the wide-range of exhibitions, programs, and events that are available today. To better understand and appreciate the museum’s offerings and goals, we'll be spending much of our time hearing about going on a behind-the-scenes tour of the current exhibition entitled Painted: Our Bodies, Heart, and Village—highlighting Pueblo perspectives on the context that formed the social and cultural landscape of Taos from 1915-1927. Let’s start by meeting our guests and then finding out all about the Colby College Museum of Art and the Painted: Our Bodies, Heart, and Village exhibition, which is on display until July 28, 2024.
